The Type Tool is considered as one of the most powerful tools in Photoshop. With this tool you can create and setup text in your image. You can type the text in vertical as well as horizontal directions. Type Tool has been the part of Photoshop’s Toolbox since it 1st came into arena in 1990. Since than it has improved greatly and loads of new font types have been included.
Horizontal Type: Horizontal Type Tool is the default Type tool and you can click and drag for making text box. Type in the text from your keyboard and give it a color of your choice.
Vertical Type: This text tool is similar to Horizontal Type tool and the only difference between this tool and Horizontal tool is that it types the characters in vertical direction.
With the Pen Tools you can create crystal clear shapes as well as paths which can be used as vector objects which can be scaled to any size. Pen Tools can also be selected by typing P letter on keyboard. With Pen tools you can draw straight line segments as well as can draw curve shapes with Pen tool.
Path Selection: With this tool you can move whole path around the canvas as a single object.
Direct Selection: With this tool you can select as well as move individual points and Bezier handles of a path or shape later.
